Water Play

Here are some pictures of Cole and Juliet playing in the water in the back of Grandma Kathryn and Grandpa Jim's house.
Cole was very thirsty!

The eater

Usually, Juliet is my little eater. She will usually cheerfully go to town with whatever is on her plate and then sometimes steal Cole's food too. I was just commenting on that yesterday in fact, so of course today she gets a horrible stomach flu and won't eat ANYTHING! She keeps saying "No,no" every time I give her food. I hope my eater is back by tomorrow.

Kicking around

Cole is happily listening to one of his favorite songs, Thumbelina (I'm not sure why, but he loves this song). He's also holding on to three of his favorite toys.

We enjoyed sitting on this swing and just feeling the breeze and the shade.


We had a good weekend and we're able to go to several graduation parties. Which basically means getting to eat some really good food, and chat with friends. The kids were not particularly interested in the food or the chatting. They basically just wanted to run around and enjoy the outdoors.

Welcome!

It's a wonderful day to start a family blog. After all, I should be studying for my last final of the quarter or cleaning my impossibly messy house (neglected because of finals and actively destroyed by my charming children). I thought this might be a nice spot to be able to direct friends and family with updated pictures of our family. It will be a nice way of keeping a family history. Also, if the house burns down there will be a few pictures floating around of my kids. Okay, that is a little morbid! Now, I'll post a couple of pictures to get started and will add on as I take more.
