Coming Soon...

Sunday night we got back from our Thanksgiving trip to Georgia to visit my Dad, his wonderful wife and my three awesome siblings, John, Jocelyn, and Maddie. We had a great time and I'm very excited to post some pictures soon. I was amazed how well the kids handled the drive down there and back. They were awesome. Thank you, travel DVD player! Anyway, I promise I'll get some pictures up soon.

Family Home Evening

Well, we had our FHE last night and I thought I came up with a really creative idea (if I do say so). I told the story of Israelites in the wilderness and how God sent them Manna when they needed food. Then I spread an old sheet on the floor and put the air popcorn popper down there and let the popcorn get started and spread onto the sheet. That was our manna and the kids got to gather it up as it came out and eat it. I also let them help feed the pop corn into the popper. They loved it. I just had to be careful that they didn't touch anything they shouldn't and get burned.
