Fourth of July

So, due to the fact that I have not really updated my blog properly for awhile, I have a really random assortment of pictures. Until I get up to date, I have a feeling that the blogs will skip around a lot. Here are some pictures of the Fourth of July; we were sitting on the lawn at the Dublin chapel where we had a very nice view of the Dublin fireworks. It was nice to see several other families from the ward who had the same idea. We actually had a lot of fun playing frisbee and running around while we waited. We also had gotten some glow sticks and glow necklaces earlier that week at the dollar store and we broke those out as it got dark.

All it needs is a little love...

Juliet found these fake flowers and found a vase to put them in. She told me she needed a blanket and when I brought it to her she wrapped it around the vase and said, "All it needs is a little love." Hopefully everyone catches the reference to the Charlie Brown Christmas special where Linus wraps his special blankie around the base of a tiny Christmas tree with about three branches, all the other peanuts characters wave there hands around the tree, and suddenly the tree is twice as tall and completely covered in beautifully decorated branches. Unfortunately, the magic did not work on our vase of flowers. Perhaps we did not add the proper hand waving element.

So, we go to Highbanks a lot....

I know I have a lot of posts on here that feature us at Highbanks Park, but we really like it there, and it is a frequent destination on days we are hanging out with Grandma.
